We are so excited to announce that Diane’s new book, The Joys of Raising Boys, was nominated for a 2018 Author Academy Award in the memoir category!
She could be invited to present her book synopsis at an Author Academy Red Carpet Session in Ohio.

I just found out I was nominated for a global author award. I am so excited and wanted to share it with you.
So many of you have been on this journey with me, as I wrote my book and got it published. I thought you might want to smile along with me as I bask in the pride of my nomination.
There is a very esteemed judging body, but there is also a small part that comes from voting (if you feel like voting, my book is under the Memoir category). If I’m being honest, I don’t think I have a chance in hell of winning—my book is up against amazing memoirs from authors who have lost children, who have survived cancer, and more. My fun/ lighthearted book really can’t win against those books. But I do have to say, I truly am excited to be nominated.
